The speakers will introduce families to the wonderful world of Photonics and optical fibers. They will then highlight the importance of optical fiber deployment as a service for schools promoted by the project "Riconnessioni" of the FOndazione per la Scuola, Compagnia di San Paolo. The role of Photonext at Politecnico will also be underlined, together with the fundamental collaboration between Politecnico di Torino and Istituto Superiore Mario Boella.
