Stefano Avanzi, after graduating in Telecommunications Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, has been working since year 2000 in Optical Sensors R&D and different areas of Mobile and Information Technology.  In March 2016, he joined Open Fiber in the early phase of the startup contributing to the definition  of Optical Network Architecture, Network Elements, Design and Deployment Processes, Deployment Technical Specifications and OTDR optical certification/monitoring. He is now head of Passive Optical Network Engineering team.
